If the Supreme Court rules for Bayer, it will not provide a blanket, de facto liability shield for the entire industry. But such a ruling is expected to negate pending and future claims for glyphosate

It could save Bayer possibly $10 Billion in claims if the Supremes rule in its favor.

Can a company offer secret emoluments to get a ruling from this court in its favor? Would the justices accept secret gifts?

If anyone knows how such cases work, please weigh in. The litigation against Bayer seems the most costly for a product ever, with nearly 200,000 total claimants, attesting to the popularity of glyphosate. Anyone with ideas about how citizens might exert influence (if this is even possible) please let us know in the comments.
