In case you can’t read the small print, I I cut the article in half to double the size of the font. Below that are highlighted a few paragraphs of this 1991 article.

The NYT has a clean version but beware—it has been edited (fixed) so I am not using it.

Note: This was supposed to be given to babies at 2,4 and 6 months of age—not newborns, when it got approved for babies:

It was “given to millions of children in Asia without any adverse effects.” What a magical elixir! What magical thinking!!!
