NIH funded coronavirus research in Wuhan to make more virulent viruses/Newsweek
Great detailed pieces from Newsweek, which has been delving into the US government’s financial support for “gain of function” (which means increasing the virulence of a pathogen) research in Wuhan, China, which might have contributed to the formation of SARS-CoV-2. They were posted April 27, and 29. From the latest story: The NIH research consisted…
Ivermectin supply, and a new threat from the medical specialty boards against doctors who say mean things about the Covid vaccines
What I learned today: Edenbridge is the manufacturer of most of the ivermectin consumed in the US. Some of their product is made in the US and some made in Mexico (according to a colleague, but I have not verified this). Their sales manager informed me that they continue to produce it and ship it,…
Narcolepsy fears may halt swine flu vaccine: Finland and Sweden/ AFP
Agence France Presse reports that Finland and Sweden fear that narcolepsy in children could be a consequence of receiving GSK’s Pandemrix flu vaccine. Pandemrix is last year’s swine flu vaccine. Its use has now been halted for all in Finland, despite Finland’s health minister saying last week that the vaccination programme would continue: Finland’s National…
Danish Medical Association Calls to Halt J and J vaccine
This happened after 4 reported cases of VITT (2 fatal and the other two probably touch and go) with 46,000 J and J shots given in Denmark. Glad the Danes are a bit more cautious about getting vaxxed than we Americans have been. https://cphpost.dk/?p=126430 Corona Round-Up: Danish doctors call to axe Johnson & Johnson jab…
Is FDA Interested in the Safety of Anthrax Vaccine?
FDA answered a Freedom of Information Act request for me today. I asked how many adverse event reports had been filed for anthrax vaccine (5,931 reports through July 22, 2008) and how many FDA had designated as SERIOUS (618 reports). Serious reports are those indicating an event requiring hospitalization, a life-threatening event, permanent disability, or…
CDC officials continue to urge H1N1 vaccination/ Infectious Disease News
Officials with the CDC are continuing to urge people to get the H1N1 vaccine, as a small uptick in H1N1 cases has been reported in the Southeast. Anne Schuchat, MD, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases said seasonal influenza activity is low this season, with H1N1 reported as the predominant…

"Covid Vaccines 'Increase Risk of Heart-Related Deaths by Up to 50%', Lancet Analysis of Trial Data Finds!"
A preprint study (not yet peer-reviewed) in the Lancet has analysed the mortality data from the vaccine trials and made the shocking finding that mRNA vaccines had “no effect on overall mortality”. Worse, it found the risk of non-Covid, non-accident mortality actually increased by 17% (relative risk 1.17, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.67-2.05). Furthermore, a full 50% of the non-Covid deaths (27 out of 54) were cardiovascular and the relative risk of such death was 45% higher in the vaccine arm (relative risk 1.45, CI 0.67-3.13), breaking down to 50% higher for Pfizer and 40% higher for Moderna (with wide confidence intervals).
These are clearly alarming findings. But they go oddly unremarked upon in the paper. This is presumably due to the authors being wary of criticising the vaccines in order to be published. If so, it is disappointing that this is thought (probably correctly) to be necessary and indicates how absurdly political vaccine research has become. While the results are not, in this study, statistically significant, in that the confidence intervals are wide and include 1.0, the effect size is large and, in the context of wider concerns about adverse effects of mRNA vaccines on the cardiovascular system, warrant some comment, if only to flag them up and say larger studies are needed to see if statistical significance obtains.
