If you are vaccinated you can take off your mask. Why now?
The reason why CDC is allowing the vaccinated to stop wearing masks indoors, I’d guess, is based on several things: 1. To give people an incentive to be vaccinated–getting those vaccines into arms seems to be a huge priority for some reason, as cases and deaths are falling off a cliff and therefore the benefit…
Boost now? Boost later? Tricky calculation for a 4th coronavirus shot/ WaPo–I say it’s crazy to boost, given the facts laid out by the WPo itself
Here’s the deal: according to the best evidence, from generally healthy healthcare workers at Israel’s top hospital, there is practically no protection by 2 months after the 4th shot. (I blogged about this previously, and the Wapo correctly discusses these data today. They are better than what was presented to the VRBPAC on April 6.) …
To develop and test new drugs and vaccines, you need the latest strains of Ebola–but researchers have been blocked from getting them. Why? / Reuters
Whatever happened to that Ebola czar? He could, if he wanted, cut through any red tape blocking the sharing of new Ebola samples (which in some cases do not even have to be live, and therefore shipping issues should disappear) in a few minutes. I doubt this is a red tape issue. Blocking even…

Possibility of scarcity spurs purchases of guns and flu shots

1987: Smallpox vaccine caused AIDS — 2010: Lack of smallpox vaccine increased AIDS
The London Times – May 11, 1987 The BBC, 2010: Smallpox demise linked to spread of HIV infection. Both (directly opposed) conclusions came from studying the same phenomenon: smallpox vaccinations used widely in Africa in the mid 1970s, followed by an explosion of AIDS a few years later. Smallpox vaccinations followed a ‘ring’ strategy,…

This is very good.
I've lost two more friendships because of all this. I don't bring it up; they bring it up. When I calmly present evidence to support my point of view, a line goes through my name.
That's ok though; I can take it. Hurt feelings heal. You can't be on the earth this long and not develop some accurate insights about human nature along with a thick skin. Part of the pandemic plan is disrupting normal relationships. It is so obvious. Wear masks and stand six feel apart.
I am going to study this map. The comments on the substack page add more.
