  1. At least the Maine Fire Chief's Assoc. has the integrity to stand up for their membership. Colleges and Universities are all too willing to throw their young students under a bus for fear of Covid. Yet there would be no fear, if doctors were allowed to TREAT THEIR PATIENTS EARLY!!!!!

    I will be writing up my religious exemption to the vaccine, while I am still trying to find a doctor (in California) brave enough to prescribe Ivermectin at the proper dose.

  2. EMS is already stressed, when a paramedic can get better pay, benefits, far less responsibility and money for higher education and regular hours well you wonder why nobody wants to do the job.
    Paramedics spend two years in school, are over seen by doctors and nurses, required to have continued yearly training to stay licensed. Paramedics are the only medical professionals overseen by other medical professionals they don’t govern the profession themselves like doctors and nurses.
    Add this mandate and many medics have said enough is enough. Estimates are anywhere from 0 to 5 employees some are higher in a profession that can’t afford to lose any.
    The ripple effect will be hospitals that need to move critical patients to higher care will not be able to, not because there are no ambulances but because there is no one to staff them. The Governor has zero clue as to any of this. We took care of these patients without the vaccine, safely using skill knowledge and our resources, what’s changed!

    1. Everything about the governmental and private-sector response to this pandemic can be fully explained by the combination of fear, incompetence, greed, and hubris. There is no need for conspiracy theories about an orchestrated dismantling of society. I think this entire thing has been inadvertently bungled, rather than deliberately crafted.

    2. Every day, everywhere I look, I am heartened that so many people from so many different walks of life and sectors of science and industry are pushing back and refusing to comply with "public health" orders that have nothing to do with health and everything to do with survival — the career survival of the politicians and public-health officials, that is. When there is zero tolerance for bad optics, there is zero tolerance for nuanced approaches to a problem. Fortunately, a tremendous diversity of people are telling them No! I'm very, very encouraged by such reports, so thanks for posting it.
