In February, the company announced it was partnering with the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations to use that platform…
How common is myocarditis? It hugely depends how hard you look. For smallpox vaccine in military recruits, 1 in 30 had clinical or subclinical myo or pericarditis/PLOS One
In 2015, US military physicians described a study of 1,081 healthy young soldiers who received a smallpox vaccine as part of their military service. [Smallpox vaccine is not used in the civilian population.] It is known to cause a high rate of side effects, including myo- and peri-carditis, heart attacks and heart failure. They found:…

Government vaccine mandates overreach in ways not so far considered
1. Mandates for millions of Americans via OSHA offer the alternative of weekly testing for COVID. However, all COVID tests in the USA are “emergency use authorized” or EUA products, and are therefore experimental under the law. Using the same argument I have made before, that Americans legally cannot be compelled to be experimental subjects,…
The explosive truth behind Fukushima’s meltdown/ The Independent
From McNeill and Adelstein at The Independent: It is one of the mysteries of Japan’s ongoing nuclear crisis: How much damage did the 11 March earthquake inflict on the Fukushima Daiichi reactors before the tsunami hit? The stakes are high: if the earthquake structurally compromised the plant and the safety of its nuclear fuel, then…
Yes you can get it again, and yes it can be transmitted by an asymptomatic person
How do I know? Because there are many examples. You don’t get it again often, and the second time is generally milder. This has happened to several of my patients and to a physician friend. You are more likely to transmit virus when you are at peak viral titers, which is after you develop symptoms. …

Meryl, do you have any sense of what the percentage is (% visits for ILI) that the health departments declare is flu season? Some of us are tired of the charade of wearing masks at work.
The links in the sidebar don't work (e.g. to your paper on anthrax in Zimbabwe)
According to CDC's FluView, the %ili last week was under 3%–and flu was only widespread in NJ, VT and NV.
But according to state epidemiologist opinions (characterized by the final graphic on the page) the flu remained widespread almost everywhere last week.
Another way of looking at the mask issue is in reference to a recent flu vaccine efficacy estimate of 46%.
If 54% of HCWs who were vaccinated are not protected, why aren't vaccinated HCWs wearing masks too?
But of course there are no studies showing the masks prevent nosocomial spread. They are simply a punitive measure to enforce vaccinations of uncertain benefit and risk.
I will try and replace the broken link this weekend. The Zimbabwe paper should be accessible. Sorry.
