Study: Getting flu shots 2 years in a row may lower protection Robert Roos News Editor a Mar 1, 2013 (CIDRAP News) – Experts are puzzled by a new study in which influenza vaccination seemed to provide little or no protection against flu in the 2010-11 season—and in which the only participants who seemed to benefit…
CDC says when the risk from oral polio and smallpox vaccines exceeded the benefit, the programs were stopped.
Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases Chapter 4 https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/safety.html “Balancing Immunization Recommendations with Risk of Disease Public health recommendations for immunization programs and practices represent a dynamic balance of risks and benefits. Vaccine safety monitoring is necessary to accurately weigh this balance and adjust immunization policy. For example, monitoring of smallpox and oral polio vaccines being…
STAT (which runs pay for print articles) is raising the stature of Trevor Bedford, one of the co-conspirators in the Fauci virus origin coverup
The young Trevor Bedford, PhD, is now being asked to pontificate on COVID, boosters and the next pandemic. Covid-19 vaccines and treatments: we must have raw data, now/ BMJ
Three BMJ editors wrote a very strong editorial about the need to access the data on COVID vaccines, which have been kept from us. Here is an excerpt: Pfizer’s pivotal covid vaccine trial was funded by the company and designed, run, analysed, and authored by Pfizer employees. The company and the contract research organisations that carried…
More monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies recommended for treating Ebola/ Reuters
This type of approach is what I recommended in my Congressional testimony in 2001, for many potential pathogens, following the anthrax letters. What are monoclonal antibodies? The human immune system takes apart microbial pathogens and manufactures antibodies to a variety of sites on the microbe, honing its response as the infection progresses. Nearly 40 years…

Meryl, do you have any sense of what the percentage is (% visits for ILI) that the health departments declare is flu season? Some of us are tired of the charade of wearing masks at work.
The links in the sidebar don't work (e.g. to your paper on anthrax in Zimbabwe)
According to CDC's FluView, the %ili last week was under 3%–and flu was only widespread in NJ, VT and NV.
But according to state epidemiologist opinions (characterized by the final graphic on the page) the flu remained widespread almost everywhere last week.
Another way of looking at the mask issue is in reference to a recent flu vaccine efficacy estimate of 46%.
If 54% of HCWs who were vaccinated are not protected, why aren't vaccinated HCWs wearing masks too?
But of course there are no studies showing the masks prevent nosocomial spread. They are simply a punitive measure to enforce vaccinations of uncertain benefit and risk.
I will try and replace the broken link this weekend. The Zimbabwe paper should be accessible. Sorry.
