Fighting health passports in Israel and Europe
Europeans and Israelis discuss the vaccine passports that have already been imposed in Israel and are about to be approved in Europe, and ways to protect yourself.

From the NY Times, adapted by the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy, U Minnesota: Oct 28, 2011 (CIDRAP News) – An expert advisory panel today approved a recommendation that the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) develop a plan to study the use of anthrax vaccine in children before an attack…
From the Aug 1, 2009 Lancet online: Last week, Australia and the USA announced that they would begin trials of an H1N1 vaccine. Vaccination against H1N1 will be an important development in controlling the impact of the pandemic. However, several thorny issues exist around vaccine manufacture and approval. All countries will require the vaccine but…
1. I agree with all scientific conclusions [of the Analytical Chemistry article] except for the one that the silicon in the spore coat excludes its artificial origin. Sandia people think about the exosporium as an absolute barrier for small molecules but it is a diffuse, loosely-bound, and permeable layer. We can think about the spores…
They work for a “nonprofit” govt contractor associated with JHU and one of Ms. Blodgett’s specialties is undersea mine warfare. No, I don’t think they had anything to do with Nordstream. But isn’t it funny how anything can be a nonprofit these days? BTW, this “nonprofit” made our esteemed Director of National Intelligence a Senior…
The LA Times reports that what I expected to occur has now happened. The CDC’s ACIP used the swine flu pandemic to gin up flu anxiety and activity. They don’t seem to care that Tamiflu was found to be an “Emperor’s New Clothes” story, nor that the data to support vaccinating everyone (let alone the…
What exactly is a “state of emergency”? According to Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO), state declarations “may also identify state rules and regulations that are waived or suspended during the emergency… They can include: Activation of statutory immunities and liability protections for those involved in response activities. Suspension and waiver of rules…

Any chance you could summarise it for those of us who do not support Facebook or any of its related platforms?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry, there were 8 or 9 commenters and I did not hear about any magic that would slow the bulldozer of vaccine mandates and passports down. There are some legal strategies, but most likely the effort to force this through the European Parliament and European Council had already obtained the agreement of the EU's leadership.
It seems that we in the US are fortunate to have a constitution that reserved so many powers to the states. If enough people in some states refuse to go along, these measures can be attempted here (and they are) but the pushback will be greater.
Once the lavish government handouts are over and companies need to earn money, they will remember they have to please their customers. We customers need to spend our money and place our money in companies that align with our interests. Fingers crossed.
Thank you!
Thus far, there's no government-mandated vaccination here in Australia; just a lot of pressure to be a good citizen, protect your fellow Aussies, and help get life back to normal by getting vaccinated.
Australia does not have a Bill of Rights which includes medical autonomy, but we're a bloody-minded lot, so I think the present government (politically conservative but very sensitive to optics and criticism) knows better than to even attempt mandatory vaccination.
Getting to fly internationally, however, is a whole other matter. As long as airlines or other countries can mandate vaccination for travel or entry, we'll be unable to leave the country. That works as a de facto vaccine mandate for anyone who wants or needs to travel internationally.
Thanks again for the synopsis of the FB info.
